A Friends and Queer Eye crossover?! Yep, it happened ahead of this year’s Emmys, and we absolutely must stan. Before the virtual award show kicked off, fashion designer Tan France helped Monica Geller — er, Courteney Cox — select her at-home viewing party outfit, leaving it up to Courteney’s Instagram followers to decide between two comfy, casual options.

“My lovely friend would like to know which of these two outfits she should wear today for the Emmys,” Tan said on her Instagram Stories before panning over to show Courteney modeling the looks. The first featured a beige collared blouse with blue skinny jeans and brown pumps, while the second involved a simple pink sweater, dark-wash jeans, and black heeled booties. Of course, Tan’s signature French tuck came into play for both. After tallying fan votes, the first ensemble wound up reigning supreme.

While Courteney wasn’t nominated for any Emmys this year, it was still an eventful night for the star, as she reunited with Friends costars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow during the show, wearing her Tan-approved outfit. Ahead, see all the photos of Courteney’s laid-back Emmys look, and then check out what other stars wore at their socially distanced viewing parties.
