Summer travel has officially kicked off and my latest adventure took me down to Turks & Caicos in the Caribbean with none other than, Victoria’s Secret! Having been an ambassador for them last year, it was a huge honor to reunite with my VS family on their first ever influencer trip celebrating the return of swim to their lingerie empire.
Available online only, they’ve done a beautiful job at curating a handful of my favorite swim brands that have created “exclusive” pieces for their site. One line, in particular, is designed by my good friend, Shea Marie. Her collaboration with Victoria’s Secret to create Skin by Same is nothing short of a tremendous milestone for influencer collaboration – best I’ve seen to date and I’m pinching myself for her! It’s all the same styles you’ve come to know and love from her collection, but Skin by Same includes exclusive prints and colors at a slightly more affordable price point.
Clearly, I’m a fan of the polka dot pieces, styling not just one, but three different looks throughout the trip – it’s been my m.o. this summer to wear swim as ready-to-wear as you can tell from my IG as of late. The High-Leg One-Piece is incredibly versatile – I wore it in Pink on the boat and in red paired with a high waisted pant for dinner. The cut of the Wide Strap Underwire Top is insanely flattering; I’m talking instant cleavage on a gal who needs to work for anything of the sort – it’s the one I’m wearing here.
I also wore a few pieces from Tori Praver for VS, including the V-Plunge One-Piece in Leopard as well as the Ribbed Mesh Back Bandeau in Emerald. But you honestly have to take a look for yourself because the brand list is extensive, impressive and includes some of my favorite swimwear designers like Onia, Stone Fox, Vix, and Seafolly.
This trip was truly a pinch-me moment, shooting for Victoria’s Secret as a thirty-something year old woman is something I never dreamed of doing! I truly appreciate that they invited diverse, “real girls” for this trip. No crazy diet or extreme exercising months before this trip, I just went as me. A tremendous amount of love and appreciation to each and every one of you who supports body positive, diverse women wearing and sharing swim!
